The cord on the remote on my chair broke and the light was flickering. I have been a fan of the Lift Zero G Recliners for years, as that is what I basically live in, due to a failed spinal surgery, I can get the right angel and I am off to dreamland, LOL. The staff are very accommodating, and very quick to answer the phone and emails. I am such a fan of these chairs, that I am going to be buying 2 more to have as back ups, my only issue with the chairs, is there is no tailbone support, so i have to use extra cushions to provide some type of support, other than that, I have no complaints.
Part works perfectly and we received the package within the estimated delivery date.
As a hanficaped person, It was $175 to come out and find the serial # then $175 to install the new motor About $450 to replace motor that failed 1 week after the original warantee

This us the factory made replacement for my Golden lift chair. It is identical to the original one that was fine for 6 or so years until the wire casing started to fray where it connects to the control. Still worked but was afraid it was only a matter of time before one of the small wires would be damaged.Took about a minute to disconnect the old remote and connect the new. No tools, simply plug and play.I wouldn’t mess with the cheaper generic replacement controls. My chair is too important to me to save a few bucks when the original is readily available.

I am 79 and the golden recliner chair is my 24 hour chair. If the chair doesn't work neither do I. I always keep a spare controller on hand. I have had the chair for about 6 years and the controller gets a good workout. This is my 3 rd controller and it is the spare but I tried it and it works and looks like the ome.
Goodness, I am thrilled that it works. I was definitely impatient waiting for it get here. Because of my disability, I sleep in my Golden recliner. Other retailers offered a seven or more days for delivery. We had severe weather two months ago with no electricity for almost three days. I had to use a pillow and table at the height of my recliner so that I could sleep. The batteries for transformer which connects to the remote were working, so the remote itself would not lift or lower my recliner. Again I had to improvise a way to sleep. This time I had a recliner without a working remote for three days plus, that is why I was inpatient waiting for the delivery. When it arrived, it took less than a couple of minutes to connect and I now had a recliner that would lift or lower. I am over the moon!

Second time was a charm. I Accidentally (wrongly) ordered another similar brand which did not work on my chair even though it was a 5 Pin connector. When I read all the positive reviews on this model ,and seeing the photo of what looked exactly like my original, I ordered it for a fantastic price. it was delivered here in 4 days. 5 Pin connector plug matched up perfectly and better yet it worked on my chair as well as original. I added double sided tape to Remote and placed it on the Arm rest to help releive the stress point where coiled cord connects to the remote. Happy Happy . Thank you to other reviewers.
